Allow me to ‘draw’ myself out (pun intended). I, Jarrell Harnett, founder of Omega Renderings, have a deep rooted passion for art and creativity. Born on the SouthSide of Chicago, my father, from Kingston, Jamaica, drew very often and my mother was an avid reader. That combination is the reason and the calling of me into comic books. I began drawing at the age of 3 and by the first grade, I had wrote and illustrated my own book that won a school-wide contest. By fifth grade I began to create gag comic books that entertained my classmates. My inspiration stems from video games, cartoons, movies (especially in the 90s) and primarily from a series of Sonic the HedgeHog comic books.

As I got older, I dabbled alot in drawing everything, and I even tried selling some drawings but that didn’t pan out. Now in 2010, I created my first official (but a very rough drafted version) comic book, “Sword of Onyx”, out of thin air. After doing some research and development and gaining some experiences, my showcasing boasts numerous stories, styles, kharacters, and an unyeilding desire.

I am keen on the embracing of traditional arts, meaning, hand drawn, hand colored and organic. I have always had a desire to be different and in showcasing my creations, I stand solidly on that.
